Palo Santo, or “Holy Wood” in English, is a sacred wood from South America that has a distinctive aroma when burnt. It is used in energy work and ceremonies for purification, and to raise the frequency of an environment. Palo Santo smoke is great for banishing evil spirits, and bringing one into attunement with their highest self.

How to use a smudging stick:
- Hold over flame (preferably candle) to ignite the stick.
- Allow to burn for several seconds, to let the flame penetrate deeply into the wood.
- Blow out flame, releasing the smudging smoke.
- Move the stick in circular motions to Let the smoke flow over crystals, altars, and through a space.
- Be sure to open a window to let any energy or spirits leave that don’t belong.
