Rutilated quartz contains fine hair-like needles called “rutiles” made of titanium oxide in various colors; Gold in the case of this specimen. The presence of these rutiles gives the quartz a hazy appearance, being densely filled with shimmering lightcode threads.
Rutilated quartz is known as a stone of transformation because it can help release negative patterns and facilitate personal growth. It’s also said to bring good luck and abundance. Gold rutilated quartz specifically is a 7 chakra activation stone, and is sometimes known as the “Hair of Venus”.
