Epidote is a calcium aluminum-iron mineral that can be found in either crystal or stone form. It varies in shade from pistachio green to black. The name Epidote is derived from the Greek word ‘epidosis’, meaning “increase.”

This beautiful druzy slab of Epidote discovered in Turkey is about the size of your palm. The crystals are a super deep green tone, with a few clear quartz crystals scattered throughout.
