“The Awakening” depicts a ghost emerging from his tomb to begin his nightly shenanigans in a dilapidated overgrown graveyard. The negative space is filled with an abstract composition in black and grey acrylic. This was the largest painting in the entire GHOST exhibition created by Dylan Louis Monroe circa 2015.
