“The Shadow” depicts a dark room with a door cracked open, and a narrow band of light shining through. The inverted shadow of a ghost appears in the light striking the floor. The room is richly paneled in wood, with a damask wallpaper, and a portrait of a man hanging on the wall. The negative space is filled by black glitter applied by hand. Created for the GHOST exhibition by Dylan Louis Monroe circa 2015. Mixed media artwork on canvas. Signed by the artist on reverse.
